On 1 July 2026, ICDL Thailand participated in the "Empowering Human Capital for a Changing World" event organised by the Thailand Professional Qualification Institute (Public Organization) (TPQI) at Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University.

The event was presided over by Prof. Dr. Yossachan Wongsawat, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), who delivered the Government's policy address on strengthening Thailand's human capital and advancing a workforce ecosystem that connects education, skills development and labour market needs to support the country's future economy.

During the event, the Deputy Prime Minister and TPQI executives visited the ICDL Thailand booth, where they met with the ICDL Thailand management team and congratulated Thailand's representatives who won international honours at the ICDL Digital Challenge 2025.

Recognised in more than 100 countries, ICDL is the global standard for digital skills certification, helping governments, educational institutions, businesses and individuals assess, develop and certify digital competencies.

Through its collaboration with TPQI and partners across the public sector, education and industry, ICDL Thailand continues to support the development of digital, AI and cybersecurity skills, helping prepare Thailand's workforce for the future.
