On the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between the Kingdom of Thailand and Ireland, you are warmly invited to attend the Thailand–Ireland Forum: Advancing Technology and Digital Partnership, hosted by the Embassy of Ireland in Bangkok, in association with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand.

The event will bring together friends of Ireland and Thailand active in the Government, private and educational sectors, offering the opportunity to:

1. Exchange expertise and knowledge on the digital technology industry and tech ecosystem between Thailand and Ireland;
2. Explore approaches for attracting investment, technology, and highly skilled personnel, particularly in the context of becoming a Tech Hub; and
3. Encourage concrete cooperation approaches between the government sector, private sector and educational institutions of both countries. Keynote addresses will be delivered by:
Dr. Hugh O’Connell, Managing Director, ICDL Thailand – “Designing Tech Ecosystems and Building the Digital Workforce: Lessons from Dublin to Thailand’s EEC” Dr. Krithpaka Boonfueng, Executive Director, National Innovation Agency – “Thailand as ASEAN Digital and Technology Hub: Existing and Future Collaboration with Ireland”
The Forum will also feature a panel discussion with experts from Thailand and Ireland representing the private sector and state agencies.
